Lindsey fell in love with ballet at 2 years old in her hometown of Pacifica, California. As a competitive Classical ballet dancer and instructor for over 20 years, she instinctively knew she needed to find complementary movement to heal the physical and mental demands of ballet. Shortly thereafter, Lindsey began her yoga practice by enrolling in an elective college yoga class. With slow progress, she began to understand, see, and feel the deep benefits of connecting conscious movement to breath work. Yoga brought healing to her injured dancer’s body, calmness to her overactive mind, and social well-being through the yoga community.
In 2016, Lindsey obtained her 200-hour YTT in Half Moon Bay, then quickly became certified in chair yoga. In her free time, she loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family, dog, and boyfriend. Something you might not know about Lindsey is that she directed health education, fitness and nutrition programs for older adults for over 10 years, and has a Master of Science in Gerontology.
She prides herself in her ability to lead yoga classes for all ages and abilities, and has a passion for teaching yoga to beginners and those with limited mobility. If yoga feels intimidating and you’re not sure where to start, come join one of her classes, where she will help guide you with patience and care!
