Cindy Barnhill

Cindy is originally from So. Cal where she attended Orange Coast College and discovered the love of movement, human anatomy and physiology. She received her B.S. in Kinesiology from UCLA and M.S. in Physical Therapy at Texas Woman’s University. Upon relocating to Placerville Cindy worked as an outpatient P.T.  After raising our two beautiful daughters I was contemplating my next move during which I discovered Pilates and was hooked.
Just after her initial Pilates training with Stotts Pilates she was diagnosed with Cancer. It was during this journey of cancer treatment and recovery that she knew  combining her background in rehab with Pilates to help others was her next move. She completed her certification as a Polestar Pilates rehab practitioner in 2016 and is a NCPT (nationally certified Pilates teacher), American Bone Health Peer Educator, and Pink Ribbon Certified instructor. It is Cindy’s passion and goal to create a safe, fun, and positive movement experience using a Pilates based exercise program consisting of low impact exercises to help others through and after their cancer treatment.
