The main purpose of Images of Hope is to provide Healing Arts to support all people on the Western Slope of El Dorado County affected by Cancer or other Traumas. They offer four free community classes a week in our sacred space. Images of Hope operates under the umbrella of the Marshall Foundation for Community Health.

Pilates for Cancer Recovery

Images of Hope and Synergy Pilates are offering a Pilates based exercise class designed to meet the needs of those impacted by cancer. Whether you are a cancer survivor/thriver, a family member or caretaker, we can all use a little movement therapy to help us recover from the challenges that a cancer diagnosis and treatment have on our body, mind and spirit.

Mindful Movement for Stress Reduction
Mondays 3:30-5pm | Thursdays 12-1:15pm
These trauma based stress reduction classes are generously offered through Images of Hope for those with cancer, disease, chronic stress, anxiety, pain, fatigue, insomnia, grief, depression, and the other challenges that arise in a somewhat difficult world. Here we meet ourselves where we are. The body heals through loving attention. This is our practice. Supported by the 8 limbs of Yoga and 10 step protocol of iRest Yoga Nidra – We move beyond our thoughts of how things should be; and truly welcome ourselves just as we are… even the difficulties. Now, with wisdom, kindness, love, compassion. . . Transformation happens. Yoga Works!!!

Dahlia Mama Village holds dear a love of community and connection. Creator, Rebeccas Rasa, found these values through her devotional practice of yoga. “This beautiful way of life has supported me throughout my transition into motherhood and beyond. It is now my passion to serve families and mamas on their journey of pregnancy and parenthood.” Dahlia Mama Village supports mamas and babies in prenatal and postnatal yoga and mindfulness offerings, as well as in mommy & tots yoga and playgroups based in mindfulness and intentional parenting.
